It has kind-of a native american feel to it. Lyrically it is politically oriented with a radical bent, relating the tragedy of the native american plight/genocide of the 19th century to what is going on today nationally and globally. The metaphor is more of an aestetic choice, but the analogy is pretty relevant I think. Musically, it's still pretty dark, but poppier in places and more up-tempo than yesno. I've come to the conclusion that this path is completely out of line with my core beliefs and who I think I should be. That is, I have decided to reject the whole treating-art-as-a-buisness capitalistic conformist music-industry mindset. I'm rejecting the idea that since I work really hard on my music and it is valuable, I should be getting money for it. The truth is, there are thousands of others making music. It is a glut market, therefor it is not really that valuable. Besides, I do not make music for money. I make music merely because I feel like it's what I need to be doing. I'm lucky enough to be able to make rent, pay for groceries and beer and still have a little to spend on recording gear. All of my needs are met. So, why should I want more out of making music?

In addition to having the MP3s freely downloadable on this site, I've decided to start giving away the remainder of the Cds I had pressed (900 or so) at shows and to anyone that wants them.
